Outside Space
Fountain Villas sits above Matlock Baths North Parade accessed through double gates into the front parking area.
At the front of the house, we have provided seating areas overlooking the Parade & river. The house is south facing so this area gets the sun all day and is a lovely spot to sit and watch the world go by and enjoy the atmosphere of Matlock Bath. Being opposite the Jubilee Bridge, it also has great views of the river and beyond.

A gated side path leads to an enclosed rear yard, in this shaded area, a small table provides an ideal place to cool down on a sunny day. It is also a secure place to store bikes and outdoor equipment.
The rear garden and patio area are situated above the ground floor level accessed by steps from the front parking area and from the rear breakfast kitchen on the 2nd floor. The terrace with its paved and decking areas has ample seating for all our guests to relax and provides an ideal space for drinks and a barbeque, with views over Matlock Bath onto hills and countryside and benefits from the sun all day.
Although the garden is not suitable for children to play, there is a fabulous children’s play area just opposite the house on the other side of the river accessed via the Jubilee Bridge. Plus, further down the river bank and over the bridge is a second children’s play area.
